You are able to book all your appointments thru your Gingr portal.  All clients must set up or login to your Gingr account to book appointments - we have provided a video demo on the page as well.  Account Set Up & Log In

GROOMING APPOINTMENT TIME

Appointment times are drop off slots. Selected appointment times are not the precise time the groomer may start on your pup. 

GROOMING DROP OFF

When you come for your appointment, you will receive a consultation directly with your booked groomer. Let the front desk know your pups name(s), and they will let the groomer know that you have arrived. It may take a minute for your groomer to come upstairs so please be understanding to the front staff. 

During your consultation you will go over your expectations and the desired haircut for your dog(s). And of course answer any questions you may have. At the end the groomers will be able to give a proper assessment of final cost, matting concern and estimate the time your pup will be ready.

COMMUNICATION

The groomers will text* via Gingr, when they have completed your doggy’s groom. If you would like an update on your pup during its stay, please text the number you received the “checked in" notice. The groomers will promptly respond back to your message(s).

*Through our system, communicative texts are only able to be sent to the main number listed on your Gingr account - not the secondary contact. If the "main '' account holder is not picking up the pup, they are responsible to either forward the completion notification text or notify the front office to directly call the number of the person doing pick up. 

AVERAGE COMPLETION TIME

Groom completion time is based on the following - drop off time, groomers' circumstances for the day, condition of other dogs before your slot, and coat condition. Prepare for 4-6 hours after the drop off slot.

If you desire a short grooming duration - book the earliest time available for your selected groomer.

-> There is an option to leave notes - here you can let your groomer know anything you believe they should be informed of, or simply introduce yourself and your pup!

-> Select desired date -> then time slot available will appear

*once a date is selected, there is an option at the bottom right corner to view the next available appt date/time

-> Once you are satisfied with your appointment -> press submit!

FINAL PRICE IS BASED ON SIZE, HAIR LENGTH AND FUR CONDITION 

We have our standard grooming prices based on size XS - 2XL measured by weight*. However the final price is based on size, hair length, and fur condition. If the groomer strains from the listed price they will give reasoning and will notify you if there is a price change.

*We use a scale located in our grooming room. And will update measured weight on your pup Gingr profile! So every grooming appt you will get an update of your pups weight!

In order to receive any and all grooming services - We REQUIRE Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella. We require these vaccinations in order to keep your dog safe and healthy!

Keeping your dog current with their Bordetella immunization, will help prevent the spread of kennel cough and/or diminish the severity of infection in your pet.

We do need proof of vaccination record(s). Invoices from your last Vet visit will more than likely have the information we need - which is the given or expiration dates of immunizations.

Dogs with matted coats require extra attention. Matted fur grows tight ultimately causing damage, tear and irritation to the skin. In some cases it can even be a breeding ground for parasite infestations. Most mats are difficult to remove and when there are multiple matts, in most cases it will result in the need to be shaved down. It is considerate to a dog to shave their matted coat for their comfortability, welfare, health, and to start the healing process of the irritated skin underneath. 

Our Groomers will not shave your dog unless it is absolutely necessary. Removing a heavily matted coat can cause nicks, cuts or abrasions due to skin growths trapped in the mats. Heavy matting can also trap moisture and urine near the pet's skin allowing mold, fungus or bacteria to grow, producing skin irritations that existed prior to the grooming process. After-effects of mat removal procedures can include itchiness, skin redness, self-inflicted irritations or abrasions. In some cases, dogs may also exhibit brief behavioral changes.

Prevention is the best defense by scheduling regular grooming appointments, every 4-8 weeks. At home make sure you are brushing the undercoats as well at the top fur. 

If your dog needs to be shaved to remove matting there may be an additional charge as this process is very time-consuming and causes extra wear and tear on groomers equipment. Your groomer will let you know during your consolation if it is the case!

We understand life happens, nevertheless please notify us as soon as possible if you are unable to make your appointment. We require a 24-hour notice for all cancellations and 12-hour notice for rescheduling. This will allow us time to fill the space with a customer from our waiting list.

We hold grooming appointments for 30 minutes past the scheduled drop off time. Appointments later than 30 minutes may be canceled based on demand. 

Our no show fee is $40. Appointments canceled with less than a 24-hour notice will result in a $20 fee. Fees will be charged to the card on file.

If your doggy is being groomed the groomers are able to text via Gingr. They send out texts when they have completed your pup's groom. Your booked groomer will text via gingr when they are done with your pups groom. If you would like an update on complettion time - please text the number you received the "check in notice" so the groomers may answer. Please be nice to office staff as they are not responsible for grooming delays.

Bathhouse:

Aidan will notify via text that the pup's bath is complete! If it is a daycare add-on we will complete your bath based on the time listed for pick up.
